www.sportfive.com

SPORTFIVE is the world’s no.1 football agency and one of the largest sports agencies worldwide. In all, SPORTFIVE has co-operations with more than 30 football associations and over 250 clubs, as well as 10 leagues. SPORTFIVE is also MATCH Hospitality’s exclusive sales agent in Continental Europe for the official hospitality programme of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ and the hospitality agent for the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics Berlin 2009™.

Apart from its core business of football, SPORTFIVE is primarily active in international basketball, triathlon, rugby, track & field, tennis and motor sports.

In recent years, SPORTFIVE has optimised and fine-tuned its comprehensive marketing concept for football clubs. In Germany, SPORTFIVE already counts ten Bundesliga clubs among its clients. Leading clubs from other European football leagues have also signed on for SPORTFIVE’s comprehensive marketing idea.

SPORTFIVE’s New Media business segment applies itself to the burgeoning market for internet and mobile phone rights. SPORTFIVE joined forces with the German national handball, basketball and volleyball leagues to launch sportdigital, an IPTV channel devoted to these sports.

In the field of stadium construction and consulting, clients benefit from the experience SPORTFIVE has gained from participating in and running several successful stadium projects. The company offers stadium consulting services throughout Europe, for clubs, cities, sports associations and construction companies.

As for selling stadium naming rights, SPORTFIVE is the pioneer of this form of advertising in Germany, France, United Kingdom and offers clubs unmatched expertise.

SPORTFIVE also offers a wide range of consulting services and regularly publishes comprehensive market-media studies, feasibility studies and up-to-date market research reports.

SPORTFIVE Marketing Rights

SPORTFIVE realises its comprehensive marketing model for numerous clubs in Europe. In the comprehensive marketing approach, SPORTFIVE acts as exclusive agent between the respective club and sponsors for all of the club’s and the stadium’s marketing rights. The comprehensive marketing concept corresponds to the demands of the market, which on the one hand seeks individual sponsoring solutions while at the same time wanting to deal with only one single partner for the respective sponsoring packages. Upon prior agreement SPORTFIVE, as services provider to the club, assumes all sponsor canvassing and support activities.

For the ten Bundesliga clubs, we have local marketing teams with a total of more than 80 on-the-spot staff members who are responsible for regional marketing activities. The central marketing division in Hamburg supports the local teams in the case of bigger sponsorships with a nationwide communication focus, such as, for example, engagements as main sponsor, naming right partner, kit supplier and premium partner.

The club can additionally benefit from a cooperation with SPORTFIVE by taking advantage of the services of the following divisions:

  • Marketing: strategies for brand build-up, product innovations, creative address for new forms of advertising

  • Market research: conducting own studies, evaluation of sponsoring-relevant data

  • Stadium development/consulting: for the marketing-oriented new construction or optimisation of a stadium

Through SPORTFIVE’s local and central divisions, it is possible to tap additional resources, create a higher added value for the marketing of the clubs and realise significant cost reductions for the clubs.

SPORTFIVE has an efficient structure specifically geared towards marketing a variety of TV formats to media partners around the world.
